GCSE Double Science

In science we follow the AQA combined science trilogy specification which awards students with two GCSE grades in science.

Biology

Biology is a branch of science that deals with living organisms and their vital processes. Biology encompasses diverse fields, including botany, conservation, ecology, evolution, genetics, marine biology, medicine, microbiology, molecular biology, physiology, and zoology.

Chemistry

Chemistry is the branch of science that deals with the properties, composition, and structure of elements and compounds, how they can change, and the energy that is released or absorbed when they change.

Physics

Physics is a branch of physical science that involves the study of matter and its motion and behaviour through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force; in other words, understanding how the universe behaves.
